Best of Halifax

In 2008 the Yoga Loft was voted the Best Yoga Studio in Halifax.

  • We would like to thank everyone who voted for us.
  • It is a great privelege to have so many wonderful people attend the studio and to feel as though it has a special place in their lives.
  • The Coast magazine presents an award for the Best Yoga Studio and here is Amanda (left), Karen (centre), and Hillary (right) displaying it.
  • It is really an award for the whole studio.
  • The teachers are the most visible part of the studio, but it would not function without the commitment and collaboration of lots of people; from the office manager and part-time office staff, to the many people who help us with work exchanges.
  • So, congratulations to everyone!

Active Halifax: Community Champions

  • In 2008, the Yoga Loft was awarded the first ever Community Champions award by Active Halifax Communities, for its work to promote active living to everyone living in Halifax.
