- Whether you are recovering from an injury or just experiencing some aches or pains, Yoga for the Hips and Knees is an opportunity to gently work through your problems.
- You'll be guided by Jessica Lodu, a Physiotherapist and yoga teacher, who also leads and instructs the Yoga Loft's Yoga Help programs.
- The class will focus on proper alignment during a number of different poses, which will help stretch, strengthen and stabilize the knees, hips and pelvis.
- Many knee problems are a result of muscle imbalances at the hips, so looking at the hips and knees together is important.
- Anyone with lower back discomfort will also find this class helpful, as lower back discomfort is frequently related to hip imbalances.
- The class is an ideal next step for anyone completing a Yoga Help program for the knees, hips, and also the lower back.
- Beginners to yoga are also welcome and yoga students who find their yoga practice or daily life is limited by hip and knee problems.

4 week programs that offer therapeutic help for most types of injuries, muscle strains, joint pain, or range of motion limitations. They gently restore range of motion and flexibility, while eliminating pain and discomfort.
Monday 5:30-6:45pm.

• Calves and Ankles: February 1, 8, 15 and 22.
• A Healthy Back: March 1, 8, 15 and 22.
• The Shoulders: March 29, April 12 and 26.
• Working at your Desk: May 3, 10, and 31.
• Sacro-Iliac Joint and Hip Pain: June 7, 14, 21 and 28.
$79 plus HST (includes a personal injury assessment).
Yoga Help drop in classes
The following classes run continually throughout the year. Students are invited to join at any time.
• Yoga for the Lower Back: Tuesdays 9:30- 1:00am
• Yoga for the Hips and Knees: Tuesday 7:15–8:45pm.
• Yoga for the Shoulders: Thursday 7:15–8:45pm
• Mysore Practice: Monday Friday for a 60 minute period anytime between 6:00 – 8:30am. (Students receive one-on-one help with different injuries and health conditions through the therapeutic use of yoga postures.)
$15 per class or with a Yoga Loft punchcard.

4 week programs that treat a variety of health conditions through gentle, relaxing, and restorative yoga postures. The programs support other medical treatments and focus on the well-being of the whole person.
